Funding: |
20 MHUF, fully funded |
Goal of the project: |
The goal of the project is to develop an automated IT security testing framework to be used to generate test
vectors and detect typical security-relevant programming bugs. The developed system will provide wider
possibilities of product evaluations. The created system will greatly encance the international
competetiveness of SEARCH-LAB and will enable more efficient bug detection thus making products more secure. |

Goal of the project: |
Frauds based on vulnerabilities of IT systems cause serious damages internationally. The number of computer
viruses and other IT attacks show that the practice of software development still has numerous weaknesses. One
of the reasons for this is that developing secure software is much more expensive; however, such more expensively developed
products are only favored by the market if they are really more secure and this can be proven to the users. This is the
goal of the Common Criteria certification. Such an IT security evaluation requires large working resources and
is a complex task, which makes it considerably expensive.
The goal of the project is to develop such innovative solutions, which could reduce the costs of evaluations and thus
enable certification of a broader spectrum of producs.
